November Bible Reading Plan
Welcome to our November Bible Study!
Our Bible Reading Plan for November focuses on The Power of Thanksgiving. I don’t know about you, but each year at this time, I appreciate a time and a season of thankfulness.
The act of thanksgiving is a way of recognizing the faithfulness of God in our lives – it is a way to consciously take time to humble ourselves before God and each other. And Scripture says those who humble themselves will one day be lifted up by God.

Thanksgiving is also a clear way we can show love and devotion to Almighty God.
Be encouraged by these divine Scriptures of gratitude that show us the true spirit of Thanksgiving!
It’s so easy during the Thanksgiving holiday season (or any time of the year!) to be overwhelmed with all the tasks and activities that we forget to stop and reflect on why we should be celebrating.
Take a minute to stop and read these Thanksgiving Bible verses as you meditate on all the ways God has blessed you!
As you read these verses, include a Thanksgiving prayer quietly in your heart to thank God and praise Him for the good that surrounds you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6, NASB).
In faith, thank God in advance for all He is going to do in the year to come – because t Thanksgiving is an important part of the Christian life.
A Prayer for Thanksgiving
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for this time that we can come together in a spirit of gratitude and thanksgiving. Thank You, God, for Your goodness and Your grace. Thank You that You have provided for all our needs abundantly at the Cross. I pray right now for our family members and friends. I thank You, God, that it is Your perfect will that not one of us be burdened with sickness or disease. So, we take healing right now in Jesus’ Name. We curse every attempt of the enemy against any and every member of our family right now in the Name of Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus over them. I speak Psalm 91 protection over them and declare that angels protect them wherever they go. For those who do not know You, Lord, I pray right now that Your love, mercy and grace would overwhelm them—that they might see and know how much You love them, to the point of dying to save them. Help them to know that no matter what they’ve done, You love them, and when they come to You, they are forgiven. Cause them to see that the Great Hope we have in this life is because we have been made Your sons and daughters. We thank You for blessing us as a family, for blessing this nation, and for blessing Your Church. We ask that You would use us to further Your Kingdom and obey You in all things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
