March Bible Reading Plan 2024

Our new March Bible Reading Plan focus on Trusting God’s Timing. God gives us hopes and dreams for certain things to happen in our lives, but He does not always allow us to see the exact timing of His plan.

Although frustrating, not knowing the exact timing is often what keeps us in the program. There are times when we might give up if we knew how long it was going to take, but when we accept God’s timing, we can learn to live in hope and enjoy our lives while God is working on our problems.

We know that God’s plan for our lives is good, and when we entrust ourselves to Him, we can experience total peace and happiness. Each month has a daily reading of powerful scriptures that relate to the month’s topic.

Each plan offers a unique reading structure that can lend to your individual learning style and study goals, these plans can help you dwell in God’s Word every day.

Resting in God’s Timing in March

Have you ever found yourself with a wonderful opportunity just to find the timing is not, right? Or even better, has a blessing finally come your way and yet the responsibility is just too much right now?

Rest assured, if these things were intended to happen, they would. Imagine moving to a new state because you could not wait.

Imagine jumping at the new high paying job that you are now miserable at, because you would not wait. Sometimes, we need to call a timeout and pray over such opportunities.

When we present it to God first and ask for his guidance, there we will find our answer. Not in our timing and when we want it but in God’s perfect timing.

One of the hardest things to do as a Christian is trusting God’s timing. It is quite an adjustment – but the sooner we learn to trust, the easier it will become.

In those moments, it can be challenging to understand and remain patient. We may even start to question God’s goodness and faithfulness. Regardless of how we feel, the truth is that God’s timing is perfect.

What if we could learn to trust in God’s timing and understand that He has a perfect plan for our lives?

That is why it is so important to sit back and pray for it. Prayer is our strongest connection to God for every situation, every opportunity, and every blessing given to us.

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.” -Lamentations 3:25-26

A Prayer for March

Thank you, Lord, for being a God of timing. I trust that your plans for me are far greater than I could ever imagine, and I surrender my life and my timing to you. Give me the strength to trust Your plan. Remind me throughout the day to trust in your timing and to have faith that everything will happen according to your plan. Help me be open to the opportunities and doors that you open for me, even if they aren’t what I expected or planned for. I know that waiting on your timing doesn’t mean sitting idly by. I will take action and pursue my passions, but I will always remain open to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the leading of your plan for my life. In Jesus Name. Amen.

1. Is it right to question God? Who else in the Bible questioned God?

• Are there different ways of questioning God that would point to right or wrong inquiry (see Romans 9:20)?

• Have you ever been frustrated with God’s timing? Explain.

• Can you think of some biblical examples where God’s delay looked bad, but resulted in a beautiful display of his blessing in the end? Can you think of an example of that in your own life to share?
