As we go through this reading plan and study journal, we will dive into scriptures that remind us of God’s faithfulness, challenge us to walk by faith and not by sight, and encourage us to surrender our doubts.

Whether you are deepening your faith or seeking renewal, this plan is designed to bring clarity, encouragement, and spiritual growth. Each day, we will meditate on passages that reveal how faith sustains us in trials, fuels our obedience, and leads us to God’s perfect peace. Take time to reflect on these scriptures, pray over them, and seek God’s presence as you grow in your trust and reliance on Him.

What Does It Mean to Have Faith in God?

Having faith in God means fully trusting in His character, His promises, and His divine plan, whether we see immediate results or not. It is the ability to believe in what is unseen and to hold onto His word even when circumstances seem uncertain.

Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” This reminds us that faith is more than an emotion; it is a deep-rooted assurance that God is who He says He is and that He will fulfill His promises.

Faith is not about having all the answers it is about trusting God even in the unknown. We may face trials, setbacks, or moments of doubt, but our faith enables us to continue walking forward in trust.

Abraham demonstrated unwavering faith when God called him to leave his homeland with no clear direction (Genesis 12:1). Despite uncertainty, he followed God’s instruction, believing that He was faithful.

To have faith in God also means relying on His timing, knowing that His plans are far greater than ours. It is resting in His promises, choosing trust over fear, and allowing His word to guide our steps. As we grow in faith, we develop a deeper relationship with God one built on confidence, dependence, and surrender to His will.

As we journey through this month, my hope is that you will find meaningful moments to spend in God’s Word, no matter how busy life gets. He meets us exactly where we are, offering wisdom, peace, and strength through His Word.

Even if you only have five minutes at a time, there are simple ways to engage with Scripture and grow deeper in faith. Let us embrace this time together and trust that God will speak to our hearts in every season.

Faith Allows us to Trust God

Having faith in God recognizes we are imperfect beings in need of a savior. with all our concerns. Faith in God starts with the realization that we need Jesus. When we surrender and humble ourselves before God and ask Jesus to take over our lives a wonderful thing happens—we are set free!

From this new place of freedom, your identity becomes firmly rooted in being a child of God and realizing you are incredibly cherished and loved by God, the creator of the heavens and earth.

Your faith defines you and causes an eruption within your soul. When you connect with the Holy Spirit it ignites a new light inside to help walk out your faith in God every day. When you have faith in God it changes the quality of your life.

Faith, changes everything. I have learned from experience that faith changes you; not a cliche of false hope but the truth. Incorporating faith into your everyday, ordinary life will impact every part of your life.

Faith keeps you centered with the realization that you are not alone and can trust God to help you live a confident, joy filled life.

According to the Bible, faith is described as “confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” Hebrews 11:1. It is not an agreement, deal, or trade we have to make. It is having hope. Searching and striving for ideals, happiness, will continuously leave us trying to fill a void. Hope in Christ will fulfill our needs.

“Without faith, it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that His is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 (NASB)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for June. I give thanks to Your Holy name for You are good; Your steadfast love endures forever, and Your faithfulness extends to all generations. In this month of June, I ask that You help me to remember Your saving grace. I declare that this month is a chance for renewed intimacy with You father. Remove any pride and familiarity from my mind for there is always more to You than the human mind can comprehend. For Your ways are higher than our ways. I am in awe of who You are, and I am so grateful that You chose to bring me into Your amazing love. You picked me in the filth of my sin, and You smiled upon me. You have held my hand and walked me into Your wonderful love. Lord, You cleaned me up and changed me to affirm that I was now a child of a majestic and holy God. I did not deserve the blood of Your son, but You saw me worthy. Remind my spirit O’ Lord of the prayers that You answered and the moments that You blessed me just because You loved me. When I look at Your goodness Jehovah, I am speechless. You are a powerful God, and I am confident that You are going before me to fight all my battles this month. I am convinced that You are divinely orchestrating everything in the background to bring me into Your favor, blessings, and truth. You guide my steps and protect me Yahweh. I thank You for all You do for me and my loved ones in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
