As they say: April showers bring May Flowers. Even though we are not celebrating the month of May, April is associated with springtime, new beginnings, and a time to bloom.

April is a time to start fresh and shed those cool weather layers. With the month comes Easter celebrations and fun family traditions.

Whether your Easter celebration is rooted in your faith, or just a fun day for the Easter Bunny with your family, I know you will enjoy a fun day.

Easter celebrations are always so much fun when the kids are excited. But, more importantly, Jesus willingly gave His life for us on the cross.

Our April Bible Reading Plan – He is Risen – focuses on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ!

In John 14:28, Jesus says, “You heard me say, ‘I am going away, and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.”

These Bible Reading Plans can help you grow as a follower of Christ. They guide you through reading the Bible, so that you can see God’s plan for this world and why it matters.

If you’re looking for a Bible Reading Plan with Worksheets for your personal study time, bible study group, Sunday School class, youth group, or women’s gathering. These Bible reading plans, journaling pages, prayers will keep you excited and actively growing in God’s Word!

As you prepare to dive deep into the Word of God, pick a quiet place in your home where you can study without interruptions?

Time in His Word is always beneficial because it’s transforming us to be more like Jesus.

“The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life” (John 6:63b, ESV).

As women, it can be difficult to find ways to spend quality time in God’s Word. It is so important that we find time to read the Bible and to pray on a daily basis.

If you are like I am, I believe we all admit to experiencing seasons when time spent in prayer or reading the Word of God feels more like a boring chore than an intimate relationship with God.

Maybe we still have our “quiet time” or devotional time, still deep down we desperately desire to connect with God. And He wants to connect with us. Figuring out how to do that seems difficult, though.

After all, God is God. He’s huge and mysterious and greater than us. He’s everywhere, yet He’s invisible. So, we don’t connect with God in quite the same way we would with a friend sitting around the house.

So, how do we, the answer is simple enough: We make it a habit.  We start by using the Bible Reading Plan.

The Bible Reading Plan along with the worksheets you will receive in PDF format and you can print them out for personal use or for use within a group setting. All of our Bible Reading Plans are geared towards women.  Make your quiet time enjoyable, simple, and fruitful with these free printable Bible Reading Plans.

Here you will be able to grab some free Bible Reading Plan worksheets to get the most out of your time with God. These bible study worksheets work with any part of the bible!

Reading and studying the bible can be two different things. Many times, when you are simply reading scripture, you are not truly getting the most out of it as possible. But if you are wanting to really study your bible at home, then some easy bible study worksheets can help so much.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

TIPS FOR MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR BIBLE READING PLAN

We’ve looked at a Bible reading plans. Now how do you start one? Whichever plan you choose, keep in mind a few tips:

First, keep to a schedule. If you’re going to succeed at keeping with a Bible reading plan, you need to make an appointment for Bible reading just like you’d do with anything else you’d schedule.

Second, consider reading through your plan with a  group or partner. Accountability is important to maintain consistency.

Third, make sure you find the right Bible to use as you follow your plan. There isn’t a single right Bible translation or edition for everyone. We all prefer to read in different ways. Some good options include:

Here are a few on Amazon that are great study bibles for beginners or for people (like me!) who like to have ideas and passages explained to them:

  • The Woman’s Study Bible – contains thousands of verse-by-verse study notes, book introductions, and outlines
  • ESV Study Bible – tons of charts, maps, notes, and illustrations
  • NIV Beautiful Word Bible – if you like pretty things like I do, this is one that I have. Room for notes on the sides and beautiful and colorful verses throughout. This one doesn’t have the extra notes. I like to use the Blue Letter Bible App to look up passages while I am reading!

So, are you ready to read through the Bible, and grow closer in the presence of God each time you study? Here are downloadable plans to make your journey through the Scriptures meaningful for your spiritual growth.

A Prayer for April

Father, In the name of Jesus, as I celebrate You. You are my redeemer, my Savoir, and my Lord, my Resurrection, and Life. Thank You that You make all things new. Thank You for making me a new creation in Christ Jesus the moment I accepted Your Son as my savior and Lord.

Thank you for giving me life, and life more abundantly, to the full till it overflows. Thank You for the victory and power I have in Jesus. No matter what life brings my way, I can look confidently to You because You hold the keys of death which means I am alive in Christ. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for surrounding me in your presence.

Jesus thank you for paving the way for my freedom, and a life eternal. May the life you gave me shine brightly on me and through me, as a guiding light for others

May I make a difference in the lives of others by sharing the good to be news. Thank You for such an incredible gift. To You be the honor, the glory, and the power on the Resurrection Day and forever.

In Jesus’ Name,

AMEN!
