17 Bible Verses That Will Remind You of Your Identity in Christ Jesus


Just knowing your identity, who Christ Jesus made you. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You are royalty, kings and priest under God. You are an overcomer. You are victorious. You are alive in Christ. I am constantly reminded of who Christ says I am and my identity in Him. 

Here are 17 of my favorite bible verses that will remind you of your identity in Christ.  When you feel overwhelmed or discouraged about who you are, these verses will speak life and truth into your life.


  1. John 1:12 ~” Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
  2. Romans 8:28~ “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. “
  3. Ephesians 1:7 ~ “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. “
  4. John 15:16 ~ “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. “
  5. Romans 6:6~ “ For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.”
  6. Genesis 1:27 ~ “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

I truly encourage you to choose one of these bible verses to memorize every week.  They will make all the difference in your view of yourself, your relationship with Jesus, and our time here on earth.  Be encouraged my sister! He has done a great work on the inside of you, and he loves us more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine.  We are perfectly made in Him!!
